Chemical Peels

Calgary Chemical Peel Studio

Chemical peels are a skin-resurfacing procedure. Chemical peels can reduce or improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin colouring, and other skin imperfections. Chemical peels for acne scars as well as chemical peels for hyperpigmentation are both very popular and effective options for those requiring it. The treatments range in type and strength, and our technician can advise you on the type and strength of chemical peel based on your skin type and goals.

What is a Chemical Peel?

A chemical peel is a chemical exfoliation that is often applied to the face and neck area to eliminate dead skill cells and promote generation of healthy new ones, yielding a healthier and more vibrant appearance. Peels are generally not recommended for people with active cold sores, undiagnosed lesions, eczema, dermatitis, or psoriasis.
